If you’re looking for a quick and easy, mess-free Valentine’s Day craft for kids, this idea is for you! Today we’re making beaded hearts for Valentine’s Day. They’re super cute and simple unbearable that plane my three year old can make them. You only need a few materials.
I dug virtually in my teardrop stash and had tons of beads that worked, but I moreover found several cute teardrop options online. These heart beads are fun. These Valentine Pony Beads would be your weightier bet if you are doing this craft for a matriculation party or preschool or something like that.
Step 1: Have your child string beads onto a chenille stem. I like to dump a handful of beads onto a piece of felt to alimony them from rolling around. This moreover prevents the child from spilling the unshortened package of beads.
Step 2: Alimony subtracting beads until there’s only well-nigh 1/2 inch left on either side.
Step 3: Twist the two ends together to form the marrow tip of the heart, then wrench the pipe cleaner into the shape of a heart.
To make a large sized heart, just use two pieces of pipe cleaner and join them at the marrow tip and the inner indentation.
You can hang them in a window using baker’s twine or use them as a souvenir topper or I’m sure you can come up with a dozen other fun ways to exhibit them.
Aren’t they cute? They’re a perfect little craft for preschool or elementary school matriculation parties or for doing at home with the kids.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
